Here Are The Chelsea Player Ratings Vs Bayern Munich:
Chelsea Player Ratings Vs Bayern Munich
Willy Caballero – 6
The veteran stopper couldn’t have done too much about any of the Bayern goals tonight as they were all from point-blank range. Came out and gathered a few crosses very efficiently.
Reece James – 6
The speedster worked extremely hard at the back tonight, but he tried to get forward whenever possible as well. Did get caught out a few times, but dropped into midfield and linked up play too.
Andreas Christensen – 5
The Dane passed the ball around with decent composure, but was guilty of some passive defending in the box. Poor when dealing with crosses into the box and never looked comfortable at the back.
Kurt Zouma – 5
Although the Frenchman made some important tackles and clearances at the back, his general positioning in the box really needs to improve. Must work on his defensive awareness as well.
Emerson – 5
The Italian was extremely suspect in the defensive phase as he was caught out on multiple occasions. Should’ve dealt with the Odriozola cross for the fourth Bayern goal in a much stronger manner.
N’Golo Kante – 7
The Frenchman played an extremely important part in the Chelsea midfield tonight as the Blues were forced to do a lot of defending. Pressed the ball and made some important tackles as well.
Mateo Kovacic – 6.5
The Croatian midfielder was guilty of the giveaway that led to the second Bayern goal tonight. Other than a few loose balls, the playmaker was efficient with his passing and defensive positioning.
Ross Barkley – 7
The Englishman wasn’t able to impact the tie in an attacking perspective, but he was neat and tidy with his passing in the Bayern half. Played some good forward balls, but needs to involve himself more.
Mason Mount – 6.5
Mount pressed the ball relentlessly all through the tie, but he wasn’t able to produce anything meaningful in the final third. Some good passes in midfield and worked extremely hard off the ball too.
Tammy Abraham – 6.5
The Englishman tried to put himself about in the final third, but wasn’t given too much joy by the Bayern defenders. Was at the right place at the right time to tap in the Blues’ first-half consolation goal.
Callum Hudson-Odoi – 7
The youngster showed multiple glimpses of brilliance all through the fixture, and he even had the ball in the net at one point, only for Abraham to be ruled to have been offside earlier in the move.
