Premier League giants Chelsea secured their deserved place in the top four this season after a fairly comfortable 2-0 victory over an extremely fluent and disciplined Wolverhampton Wanderers side. The fixture started in incredibly drab fashion, and it wasn’t until the final stages of the first-half that things began to heat up. Much to the home side’s credit, they produced two goals within the space of two minutes prior to the half-time whistle to shell-shock the Wolves back-line. Some staunch defending in the final stages ensured that the Blues finished the season in fourth place with top level European football to look forward to next season.
