Premier League giants Manchester United were unable to regain the fourth spot on the table after succumbing to a 1-1 draw against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur. The match would be best described as a typical Mourinho display, where his team bagged the early goal and then set out to defend for the rest of the ninety. United’s best player on the night – Bruno Fernandes, tried everything in his power to create something. Still, it took the magic of Paul Pogba in the final minutes to earn United the equalising penalty, put away by none other than the Portuguese himself.
Here Are The Manchester United Player Ratings Vs Tottenham Hotspur:
Manchester United Player Ratings Vs Tottenham Hotspur
David De Gea – 6
The Spaniard pulled off a couple of good saves to limit Mourinho’s side to just the one goal tonight but was directly to blame for the one that they did. Was undone by the power of Bergwijn’s shot.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 5.5
The youngster wasn’t overly troubled by any of Son’s efforts tonight, but when going in the opposite direction, struggled to create anything meaningful. Looked clueless after entering the final third.
Harry Maguire – 6.5
The Englishman put in a solid defensive performance for most of the night, apart from one horror moment where he let Bergwijn find space in the box. Carried the ball forward on multiple occasions.
Victor Lindelof – 6.5
The centre-half pulled up with an apparent injury in the second half and was hence substituted. Looked composed in the heart of the defence and didn’t make any significant errors.
Luke Shaw – 6.5
The Englishman worked extremely hard running up and down the field for the whole ninety minutes. Played some good crosses into the box and made some sharp overlapping runs too.
Fred – 6.5
The Brazilian did put in a good shift all through the fixture but just couldn’t find that final pass out. Tracked back well but was guilty of some loose passes before being substituted by Solskjaer.
Scott McTominay – 7
The Scottish ace put in a remarkably composed display in the middle of the park, as he played multiple neat passes out to release the attackers. He worked hard in the defensive phase as well.
Bruno Fernandes – 8
Undoubtedly the Red Devils’ best player on the pitch tonight, the Portuguese magician was right at the heart of everything positive that they created. Put away the penalty with supreme confidence too.

The youngster picked up some dangerous positions in the first half but wasn’t able to create too much in the final third of the pitch. Despite boasting stellar pace, he lacks a certain cutting edge in attack.
