Brighton and Hove Albion will entertain Manchester United at the American Express Community Stadium on Tuesday evening hoping to pick up another big victory at home in the Premier League. The Seagulls are coming into this game on the back of a 0-0 draw versus Leicester City last week. The home side are also enjoying a three-match unbeaten run, so they could prove to be a difficult test for the Reds Devils in midweek.
Graham Potter will opt for a 4-3-3 formation and might be inclined to make a few alterations to his first-team for this upcoming league encounter against the Mancunian giants.
4-3-3 Brighton Predicted Lineup To Face Manchester United
Defence
Matt Ryan will lineup in goal for the Seagulls after securing two clean sheets in his last three starts in the English top-flight. Shane Duffy could return, and partner Lewis Dunk at the heart of Potter’s defence as they look to keep things stable at the back when the Red Devils come to town in midweek.
Tariq Lamptey is a nailed-on starter at right-back while Dan Burn fills in on the other side as the left-back. Both Brighton full-backs can expect to spend a lot of time defending inside their half. However, Potter will also hope that they have enough energy to link up with the attackers on the counter.
Martín Montoya will have to settle for a spot on the bench but might come on to make an impact in the game if required. However, Adam Webster is a significant doubt for this match because of a hamstring injury.
Midfield
The Brighton midfield will be comprised of Aaron Mooy, Davy Propper and Yves Bissouma as they focus on working hard in making life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park. With the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba operating in the Man United midfield, the Seagulls trio will need to produce a top performance collectively if they are to help Brighton earn a result on Tuesday.
Pascal Groß will be available for selection on the bench but could influence the game as an impact substitute if Potter calls upon his services.
Attack
Leandro Trossard will get the nod to feature as a left-winger while Solly March looks to impress down the right flank. Both wide players will have to find a way to provide some decent service for Neal Maupay, who will lead the charge for the Seagulls down the middle.
