According to a recent exclusive report by French source Le10Sport, Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore is said to be on the radar of a variety of top European clubs, with some sides from the Premier League also claimed to be keen. The report suggests that the Spaniard’s signature is extremely sought-after in the whole of Europe at this point and that his exploits haven’t gone unnoticed. German giants Bayern Munich are among the most prominent names currently following the Wolves winger.
It has been suggested in the report that the Premier League interest in Traore is headed by the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City, but that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United have also recently entered the race to acquire him this summer. Speaking to Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, the 24-year-old admitted his willingness to move to the La Liga, and also said, “offers from Madrid or Barça will come when they come, but my mentality is to continue growing as a player.”
Wolves Must Keep Adama Traore: What Does He Offer To Nuno’s Side?
Former Barcelona academy ace Adama Traore has been around the English football scene for just under five years now, but only recently underwent the physical transformation that has changed him into the player he is today. Formerly of Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, the 24-year-old didn’t find prominent success at either of those two clubs and eventually made the switch to the Black Country in the summer of 2018.
Despite not showing himself in the best light in his first season at the Molineux, the turnaround that Traore has displayed this term can only be described as commendable. For starters, the Spaniard has definitely worked on his physical attributes, as just the sight of him bombarding down the flank is enough to send shivers down the spine of most defenders. There was a general lack of surety in the speedster’s wide-play, which seems to have been completely replaced with confidence.
Offering raw pace and the ability to power his way past majority of the Premier League defenders, Traore has been one of the breakout stars of the English top-flight campaign. Nuno’s side have massively reaped the benefits of the Spaniard’s efforts, as they currently find themselves in a highly respectable European position. If there’s one thing that the trickster needs to improve on, then it would have to be his finishing or final delivery. His record of four goals and seven assists from 28 league outings this term is a clear indicator of just that.
Wolves Must Keep Adama Traore: Can Nuno’s Team Afford To Lose His Talents?
Wolves, over the last couple of years, have managed to build up quite the reputation about what kind of team they are and what they aspire to become in the coming years. Under the able guidance of Nuno Espírito Santo, this group of Wolves players have kicked things up a notch in the Black Country. European football at the end of the season isn’t a dream for Wolves fans anymore, it’s a necessity.
Adama Traore has undoubtedly been a massive catalyst to all the success they’ve achieved. While it could be argued that the other players in Nuno’s ranks will provide just as much quality, the fact remains that selling Adama Traore will come as a massive loss to the Molineux squad.
