Leeds United will be back in action as they will take on Hull City in a midweek clash at Elland Road. The Whites are now on six games winning run, and they have opened up an eight-point lead over third-placed Fulham. Things look positive at the moment, but the Yorkshire team were in a similar position last season. Hence, they would be aware that they still need to continue with their excellent work.
Hull City have had a mixed bag of a season so far as they have won 8 games and lost 7. The Tigers are languishing on the 12th spot, and they are coming in this game on the back of a comeback win against Stoke City. However, their task will be cut out as they face an in form United side who are unbeaten in their last nine games and have conceded just three goals in that time.
Team News: Liam Cooper had to miss the game against Huddersfield with a slight calf strain. It remains to be seen whether the Whites will risk the captain in the tie against Hull or not. Kalvin Phillips should return to the lineup after missing out the last clash due to a suspension. Adam Forshaw and Tyler Robers are going to be unavailable.

Kiko Casilla played a stellar role against Huddersfield in goal, and he should start in between the sticks again. Ben White is expected to start in the middle of the back three. Luke Ayling should start on his right. Gaetano Berardi will complete the back three by starting on the left of the back three. Berardi often struggled with the opposition’s physicality and aerial presence against Huddersfield and Bielsa would hope that he can do a better job in defence.
Midfield
Kalvin Phillips will be back in his defensive midfield role. Stuart Dallas will likely be on his right. Mateusz Klich could be shifted on the left.
Jack Harrison will occupy the attacking spot on the left flank. Pablo Hernandez finished off a slick counter-attacking goal against Huddersfield, and he should feature in the attacking midfield position. Helder Costa is yet to showcase his full potential, but he will likely get another chance to start from the right.
Attack
Quite a few would like to see Eddie Nketiah start, but Bielsa will likely persist with Patrick Bamford. The former Middlesbrough striker will lead the line for the Whites.
