In a recent interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli (via Sport Witness), one of Everton’s scouts, Carlo Jacomuzzi had words of encouragement for Napoli frontman Arkadiusz Milik when he said (relayed by Tutto Napoli), “In the second goal Milik demonstrated the goalscorer’s instinct.
“The Poland international has always been considered a great striker. Napoli needs all the players to stay there fighting with Inter and Juventus.”
Everton’s Need To Recruit A New Forward In January
It is no secret that the Toffees are currently lacking depth in the striking department with Dominic Calvert-Lewin continuing to keep his place in Marco Silva’s first-team despite failing to score goals consistently in the Premier League. Both Moise Kean and Cenk Tosun have been quite poor whenever they have gotten a first-team run out this season.
The Merseyside outfit are now in dire need of a new striker who can come in and help them compete for a European place. Milik has shown in the past that he can be a prolific goal-scorer at the highest level. The Polish marksman has a decent record at Ajax where he netted 47 goals and grabbed 21 assists in 75 matches across all competitions.
Since his move to Naples, the 25-year-old’s numbers have taken a slight dip as he has scored 36 goals and provided five assists in 91 matches thus far. The Serie A centre-forward has also earned 49 international caps for Poland and has found the back of the net 14 times for his nation so far.

Milik is a moderately paced striker who can be a lethal finisher inside the opposition penalty box. He can keep the ball close to his feet which enables him to make some driving runs up top. The Polish forward is usually quite accurate with his shooting and his attempts often pack a lot of power.
The Napoli goal-getter can also be a dominant presence in the final third as he has an incredible upper body strength that helps him score a few goals with his head.
