According to a recent report by Eju! (via the Sport Witness), West Ham United are interested in securing the services of Bolivian midfield ace Daniel Camacho. Another report from Diez (via the Sport Witness) has claimed that the Strongest youngster is eager to seal a move to the London Stadium after the Hammers already contacted his club to discuss a potential transfer.
The Strongest president Ines Quispe has confirmed West Ham’s interest in recruiting the player and said (via the Sport Witness), “A representative from the English club (West Ham) called me to let me know that they are interested in Daniel Camacho.
“The offer is for a sale. We’ve agreed that I will check the player’s contract and the conditions in which he is on loan with Aurora.
“For The Strongest, it is a great joy that international clubs see the club as a showcase. We already have Henry Vaca playing in Peru. It is a great satisfaction for us.”
Camacho’s Incredible Rise In Bolivian Football
The La Paz born sensation joined the youth ranks of Bolivar as a teenager before going to earn a move to the Strongest in the summer transfer window of 2017. However, he initially struggled to hit the ground running for the La Paz-based outfit and had to go out on loan to play for Aurora at the start of this calendar year.
Camacho is still quite a raw prospect and has not earned enough first-team opportunities to merit a move to East London in the coming years. Even if he goes on to sign for West Ham, it seems like he will join the Hammers Under-23 side and not the first-team.
What Does The Bolivian Whizkid Bring To The Table?
Camacho is one of most promising young players coming out of Bolivian football. He primarily operates as a central midfielder and can be a commanding presence at the centre of the park. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement in his game as he is far from a finished product at this moment.
Is Camacho A Star In The Making?
The addition of a midfielder of Camacho’s incredible potential will undeniably bolster Manuel Pellegrini’s youth ranks at the London Stadium. He is an exciting young player who could turn out to be a future star if he can continue improving his game with each season.
There is no doubt that Camacho is a prospect for the future, so Pellegrini would be wise if he decides to invest in the youth and brings the Bolivian starlet to the English capital.
