La Liga Matchday 6 sees second-placed Real Madrid play host to Osasuna who are placed 10th on the points table. Los Blancos are entering this fixture following a morale-boosting victory against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
This is a relatively easy fixture for the Madrid side who are going through a busy month with tough away fixtures. Real Madrid have already faced Paris Saint-Germain and Sevilla with one victory and one defeat in those two fixtures. The final big challenge for September remains Atletico de Madrid. However, Zidane should not make the mistake of undermining Osasuna’s abilities who held Barcelona to a 2-2 draw earlier this season at home.
It is expected that Zidane would make a few changes to the starting eleven for this fixture against Osasuna. The same could be done to rest the players like Varane, Kroos, and Casemiro, who have toiled extremely hard during the time Real Madrid were facing an injury crisis.
The trio of Marco Asensio, Luka Modric and Marcelo continue to remain absent from the team with their injury troubles. Luka Modric and Marcelo are expected to be back in time for the Whites’ trip to Wanda Metropolitano. Here is our 4-3-3 Real Madrid predicted lineup Vs Osasuna.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup Vs Osasuna
Defence
Courtois would be certainly pumped up after holding onto a clean-sheet in a tricky fixture against Sevilla at the Ramos Sanchez Pizjuan. The Belgian would be looking to repeat his antics from the weekend when Los Blancos face Osasuna. Dani Carvajal would be occupying the right-back spot ahead of Alvaro Odriozola.
Nacho is likely to make his first appearance of the season when Real Madrid play host to Osasuna. Varane would be given some minutes off after featuring in all of Real Madrid’s games this season. The Frenchman would need some fresh legs before Zidane’s side make the trip to the Wanda Metropolitano this weekend. Ramos would be partnering Nacho in central defence. Ferland Mendy is expected to retain his place in the starting eleven with Marcelo still nursing a neck injury.
Midfield
James Rodriguez would be retaining his spot in the starting eleven along with Casemiro and Toni Kroos. However, it is understood that the latter two would be given some rest in the second half of the game keeping in mind the scheduled fixture against Atletico de Madrid. Isco could be featured on the evening following his return from an injury in his biceps. It remains to be seen on how Isco would be moulded in starting eleven by Zidane.
Attack
Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema are expected to start this fixture. The duo has been in red-hot form and has been winning the points for Real Madrid lately. Karim Benzema scored Real Madrid’s winner against Sevilla as well as Levante. It’s good to see him up and running for the Golden Boot trophy with five goals already. Vinicius Junior would be occupying the last spot up for grabs.
The Brazilian teenager has not featured lately for Real Madrid and could be given a run against 10th placed Osasuna. This move would also allow Hazard to slowly make his way into the side instead of rushing himself after an injury.
Predicted Line-Up

Carvajal – Nacho – Ramos – Mendy
