Everton will clash heads with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park trying to kick off the new Premier League season with a positive result on Saturday. The Toffees have enjoyed a stellar form defensively as they have not conceded a single goal in any of their past four preseason matches. However, they have been shooting blanks on the other end as well after scoring just two goals in this off-season.
Marco Silva would hope that his side can get their act together by putting in an excellent performance this weekend. He is expected to opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation and might choose to start with the defensive pairing of Yerry Mina and Michael Keane against the Eagles tomorrow.

Defence
Jordan Pickford will start in between the sticks for the Toffees hoping to kick off the new Premier League campaign with a clean sheet. The centre-back pair of Yerry Mina and Michael Keane will look to protect the English keeper by neutralising the threat of the Crystal Palace attackers.
Seamus Coleman will get the nod to start in the right-back position while Lucas Digne aims to put in an impressive performance on the other side as the left-back. The Everton defence will need to hold firm if they are to come away with maximum points from Selhurst Park this weekend.
Midfield
Morgan Schneiderlin and Andre Gomes will lineup as the holding midfielders as they look to break up the opposition attacks at the middle of the park. The talented trio of Bernard, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison will operate just ahead of them as part of Marco Silva’s attack.
On their day, they can be match-winners so we can expect one of them to fire on all cylinders this weekend. Fabian Delph is a slight doubt for this game and will be in a race against time to be fit for this clash against the Eagles.
Both Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Alex Iwobi might get a chance to shine during the latter stages of the contest if Marco Silva decides to call upon their services off the bench.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the charge for Everton up top. The youngster will have Moise Kean breathing down his neck for a regular starting berth in Silva’s first-team. However, it is expected that Calvert-Lewin will get the nod to start against Palace this weekend while Kean comes off the bench to make an impact if required.
