According to a recent report by Goal.com, Manchester City have agreed on a €3.5m fee with Sporting CP for the services of Felix Correia this summer. The same source has also mentioned that the Citizens beat stiff competition from Barcelona and Juventus to win the race to land the Portuguese youngster in this off-season.

The teenage sensation began his career at Sporting CP before battling his way up their youth ranks to feature at the Under-19 level. The Premier League champions have moved in quickly to acquire his talents this summer.
The Lisboa-born prospect has also represented Portugal at various youth levels and is currently an integral member of his nation’s U-19 team. He has made 14 appearances for them thus far and has scored two goals in the process.
Correia is highly versatile as he can play in multiple positions across the frontline. The Sporting starlet primarily operates as a wide player down the right flank but can also fill in as an attacking midfielder in the number 10 position if required.
Correia is following on the footsteps of Daniel Ogwuru and Darko Gyabi following the young duo’s arrival from the Bolton Wanderers academy and Millwall academy respectively during the summer transfer window of 2018. The Portuguese whizkid will now get an opportunity to test himself against the best players of his age group in Man City’s youth ranks next season.
