West Ham United will travel to the Amex Stadium to face off against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. The Hammers would be hoping to come up with a strong response after a dismal display at the London Stadium against Manchester City last weekend.
On the other hand, the Seagulls come into this encounter on the back of an impressive 3-0 away win at Watford. Manuel Pellegrini might opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation as he looks to name a side that could claim maximum points against Graham Potter’s men this weekend.

Defence
Łukasz Fabiański will start in between the sticks for the Hammers despite shipping in five goals against Manchester City last weekend. Fabián Balbuena and Issa Diop will lineup ahead of the Polish keeper as they look to put in a commanding shift at the centre of the West Ham backline.
Ryan Fredericks will try to link up with his teammates down the right flank while Aaron Cresswell plays on the other side as he assumes the duties of a left-back. Pellegrini would hope that his defenders can put in a much-improved defensive display against the Seagulls on Saturday afternoon.
Midfield
Both Jack Wilshere and Declan Rice will act as the anchormen in midfield as they try to nip the Brighton attacks in the bud. Wilshere will be expected to create a few chances going forward while the talented trio of Manuel Lanzini, Pablo Fornals and Felipe Anderson operate ahead of him as part of the Hammers attack.
The East London outfit lacked the cutting edge in the final third against the Citizens so the West Ham attackers would need to step up their game if they are to brush off Brighton’s challenge this weekend.
Attack
Sebastien Haller will lead the line for the Hammers up top. The 25-year-old summer recruit is a prolific goal-getter in the attacking third of the pitch as evidenced by his impressive record of 20 goals and 12 assists in 41 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt on all fronts last season.
The West Ham fans would now expect the French striker to continue his outstanding goal-scoring form in the Premier League even though he might need time to adapt to life in England.
