According to a recent report by the Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are in the driver’s seat to secure the services of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan deal this summer. The same source has also mentioned that the former Real Betis talent does not intend to make his switch permanent and still hopes to have a successful career at the Spanish capital.
AS has also claimed that Spurs will face competition from Arsenal and AC Milan in pursuit of the Sevilla-born prospect. However, the player does not intend to play for a club not participating in the UEFA Champions League which has given Mauricio Pochettino’s side a massive advantage in the chase to sign Ceballos in this off-season.

The Spaniard had to endure a difficult campaign last season when he struggled to find consistency on the field. The La Liga sensation played 34 matches for the Galacticos in the previous campaign, registering three goals while creating two assists across all competitions.
