According to French outlet Soccerlink, Manchester United have proposed a contract offer to soon to be a free-agent Adrien Rabiot amid reports linking him with a prolonged stay at Paris. It is believed that the Red Devils have submitted an €8 million per year contract to the Frenchman with a signing bonus of €10 million.
However, the Red Devils could face stiff competition from Juventus in the pursuit of the Frenchman. The Italian champions have also tabled a similar offer except they are willing to hand Rabiot €7.5 million per year. Hence, the midfielder could soon be forced to make a decision on his future.
Rabiot’s disastrous season at PSG
Rabiot is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Ligue 1, having enjoyed immense success since making his breakthrough at the French capital. He has made 227 appearances for PSG in all competitions, which is quite impressive for a player of his age.
However, the Frenchman endured a disastrous 2018/19 campaign. After initially starting the season on a positive note, the midfielder reportedly rejected PSG’s contract extension offer and instead demanded a more lucrative contract. And after failing to reach an agreement, Rabiot was indefinitely exiled from the club, with the 24-year-old not making any appearances during the second half of the campaign.
His current contract at the club will expire at the end of this month. However, with the arrival of Leonardo Araujo as the new PSG sporting director, there have been reports of Rabiot potentially renewing his contract this summer.

Rabiot is a free-flowing midfielder who is blessed with immense technical prowess. He is an excellent passer of the ball and can bring others into play with his remarkable passing range. Additionally, the 24-year-old is adept in carrying the ball across half-spaces.
