Tottenham Hotspur clashed heads with Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League earlier tonight having secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over their German opponents in the first leg last month. Spurs just needed to avoid a heavy defeat to qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition. Dortmund began the match on the front foot and dominated possession in the first half. However, they were not able to make a breakthrough before the half-time break.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men scored early in the second half through Harry Kane’s goal in the 48th minute. The North London outfit held on to secure a narrow 1-0 win on the night.
Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player performed during the match against Dortmund.
