Norwich City clinched an important victory in the Championship as they defeated Birmingham City in their own backyard by 3-1. Teemo Pukki, Mario Vrancic and Tom Trybull made sure of the three points with one goal apiece within the first 35 minutes. The Blues tried to make a comeback into the match but could manage only one goal through Che Adams, which was not enough to rescue a point for his club.
Here is how the Norwich City players were rated from their win against Birmingham City.
Tim Krul: 6
Had a good match in goal as he kept the opposition strikers at bay. Could not do anything to stop Adams from getting the goal though.
Max Aarons: 6
Did well to get the ball up the field with his passes and crosses. Lacked the accuracy on a few occasions though.
Christoph Zimmermann: 7
Good performance from the German centre-back as he kept his side out of harm’s way.
Ben Godfrey: 6
Partnered Zimmermann in the backline well. Could have done better to restrict Adams from spoiling the clean sheet.
Jamaal Lewis: 7
Made good runs into the opposition half with the ball and tracked back well too.
Tom Trybull: 7
Kept his composure throughout the match. Scored in the 35th minute to seal the win for the Canaries.
Mario Vrancic: 7
Made a number of good tackles and interceptions to break down the Birmingham attacks before they could build in the midfield. Scored to give his side the lead and helped the Canaries to an important victory.
Emiliano Buendia: 7
Got the ball into the danger area quite a few times and assisted both Vrancic and Trybull for the second and third goals of the match. Had to leave the pitch with an apparent injury in the 39th minute.
Marco Stiepermann: 6
Tried to take an aim for goal but failed. Nothing much to write about the player on the night.
Onel Hernandez: 6
Was not able to deceive the opposition with his footwork.
Teemo Pukki: 8
Great composure throughout the match as he kept the pressure on the Birmingham defence. Opened the scoring in the 12th minute in clinical fashion.

Played too little to warrant a rating.
