Everton were unable to get past their opponents Millwall in their FA Cup fourth-round matchup that went right down to the wire. The Toffees took the lead in the first half via Richarlison, but Lee Gregory brought them back in the contest right at the end of the first half. Cenk Tosun brought the Merseyside club back into the lead with a goal in the 72nd minute, but Millwall equalised in the 75th minute via Jake Cooper. However, the Lions were the eventual winners as Murray Wallace fired them home in the very last minute of the match to knock Everton out of the FA Cup in the most dramatic way possible.
Here is how the Everton players were rated from their defeat against Millwall.
Jordan Pickford: 5
He seems to have hit a rough patch in recent times as he again conceded thrice to see his team go out of the F.A. Cup.
Seamus Coleman: 6
Tried his best to get the ball forward with his crosses but looked to be on the wrong foot while defending.
Michael Keane: 5
Not a good outing for the Englishman as he could not keep the Millwall strikers at bay.
Yerry Mina: 4
Looked completely out of sorts while it came to defending against the long balls from Millwall. Was substituted at the start of the second half.
Lucas Digne: 6
Was decent on the attack but could not help his side when it came to defending, leaving acres of space on the flanks for the Millwall attackers to capitalise on.
Idrissa Gueye: 6
Put in a solid shift in the midfield in the first half but lacked composure in the second one.
Andre Gomes: 5
Looked very ordinary on the day. Made a few good interceptions though.
Ademola Lookman: 6
Tried his best to get in behind the opposition defenders but could not get the shot away.
Gylfi Sigurdsson: 5
Nothing special from the Iceland international today as he could not create the space to take the shots on goal.
Richarlison: 6
Was lucky to get the goal as the ball bounced awkwardly for the Millwall goalie. Looked ordinary for the rest of the match.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin: 4
Pathetic! Everton needs to invest in a new striker, and they needed to do it yesterday.
Substitutes
Kurt Zouma: 5
Tried to provide stability to the Everton backline but failed.
Theo Walcott: 5
Looked very ordinary for the time he was out on the pitch.
Cenk Tosun: 6
Looked in his best form so far this season as he tried his best to keep his side in the fight and notched up an important goal.
