AFC Wimbledon humiliated West Ham United in a FA Cup fourth-round matchup as the Hammers lost by 4-2 at Kingsmeadow. The east London club could not contain the hosts as they scored twice in each half. Lucas Perez and Felipe Anderson scored one goal apiece to try and get their side back in the game, but their efforts proved to be futile in the end.
The Hammers, however, would need to put this disappointment behind them as they go into their next match in the Premier League against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Team News
West Ham United continue to be bogged down by injury worries to a number of their key players. Fabian Balbuena, Andriy Yarmolenko, Manuel Lanzini, Jack Wilshere, Carlos Sanchez and Winston Reid, all remain on the sidelines to pile on the misery for the veteran Chilean gaffer.
Goalkeeper
Lukasz Fabianski has been in decent form this season and would return to his goalkeeping duties against Wolves.
Defence
Given the shortage of quality players in the West Ham backline, Angelo Ogbonna would pair up with Issa Diop in the heart of the defence. Pablo Zabaleta would return to the starting lineup to replace Michail Antonio. Aaron Cresswell would also replace Arthur Masuaku in the left back position for the next match.
Midfield
Declan Rice would return to the starting lineup in his familiar role as the defensive midfielder. Mark Noble would start ahead of him alongside Pedro Obiang in the central role. Felipe Anderson would start in the left side of midfield while Robert Snodgrass returns to his primary position as the right midfielder.
Attack
Marko Aranautovic would return to the starting eleven to lead the line for the Hammers against Wolves.
Predicted Formation: 4-1-4-1
