West Ham United clinched their fifth win in last six matches as the Hammers got the better of their opponents Southampton in a crucial matchup in the Premier League. It was a hard-fought affair at the St Mary’s Stadium as the east London club responded with two quick goals via Felipe Anderson after Nathan Redmond opened the scoring for the South Coast club. Lukasz Fabianski: 7
Made a number of crucial saves throughout the match to help his side get over the line against a resilient opposition.
Michail Antonio: 6
Did well to press the opposition on the run. Was caught off guard a few times while defending.
Angelo Ogbonna: 6
Sturdy performance from the centre back in the first half. Looked a bit shaky in the second though.
Issa Diop: 7
Kept his composure throughout the match and helped his side get all three points.
Aaron Cresswell: 6
Made some good runs with the ball in the danger area but his backtracking was not great.
Pedro Obiang: 7
Was given the nod ahead of Mark Noble and he made good utilisation of the opportunity by putting in a solid shift in midfield.

Reliable as ever. Partnered well with Obiang to break the opposition attacks before they could build.
Grady Diangana: 6
Did well in the midfield with his physicality and presence of mind.
Robert Snodgrass: 6
Made a few good runs into the danger area with the ball but lost his composure in the second half. Looked a bit fatigued as well.

The star of the show for the Hammers. Kept deceiving the opposition players with his classy footwork and agility. Cancelled out Redmond’s opener to score twice in quick succession to sink the Saints at St Mary’s in the second half.
Lucas Perez: 6
Led the line with grit. Didn’t look at his hundred per cent though.
