Bernd Leno: 6
Had a decent outing. Made some brilliant saves throughout the match to deny the Wolves’ attackers but was unfortunate to concede a goal due to a defensive lapse.
Hector Bellerin: 6
Looked average on the night. Squandered a really good chance to bring his side back into the match.
Shkodran Mustafi: 6
Kept his side out of harm’s way with all his tackles and blocks. Looked a bit shaky though.
Rob Holding: 7
Good confident defensive display from the youngster on the night.
Sead Kolasinac: 6
An average outing for the left-back. Built a few good moves but no fruitful outcome.
Granit Xhaka: 5
Lazy defensive display to give away the ball which resulted in the goal. Went into tackles hard and picked up a yellow card later in the match.
Lucas Torreira: 7
Made many interceptions to break the Wolves attacks in the middle of the pitch. Passed the ball well.
Alex Iwobi: 6
Used his pace well but wasn’t effective.
Mesut Ozil: 5
Moments of brilliance were there but not a very impactful performance.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang: 6
Tried his best to make something out of the chances that fell to him but failed. Was unfortunate to hit the post in the second half from a brilliant build-up.

Could not get the better of the Wolves defence.
Substitutes
Matteo Guendouzi: 6
Kept the pressure on the opponents with his passing and interceptions ever since he came on at half time.

Got the goal that saved the day for the Gunners. The Armenian might have intended to cross, but it definitely bamboozled Patricio in the Wolves goal.

Was denied brilliantly by Rui Patricio. It was his shrewd move that led to the corner prior to the equaliser.
