Everton clashed heads with Brighton and Hove Albion at Goodison Park earlier today hoping to continue their winning run at home in the Premier League. The Toffees dominated the game early on and managed to get themselves ahead through Richarlison’s outstanding finish in the 26th minute. However, it just took seven minutes for the Seagulls to come up with a response courtesy of Dunk’s header. Both teams fought hard and went in level at half-time.
The second half saw Marco Silva’s side push on in search of a breakthrough. It took the home team just five minutes to regain the lead after the half-time break when Seamus Coleman scored with a brilliant low drive. Richarlison found the back of the net once again in the 77th minute to put the icing on the cake for the Blues of Merseyside. In the end, Everton secured a comfortable victory over Brighton with a 3-1 scoreline.
