West Ham United went head-to-head with Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium in what was a crucial fixture for both the sides. Both the Terriers and the Hammers were fresh from a win and were looking to continue their winning run in the Premier League as they locked horns with each other.
David Wagner’s side drew first blood as Alex Pritchard gave his team the lead in the 6th minute of the match. They sustained waves of attack from the opposition until the 74th minute when West Ham’s man-in-form Felipe Anderson went onto score an equaliser in fine style to find the top left corner of the Huddersfield goal. The scoreline remained 1-1 till the final whistle and the teams had to be content with one point apiece.
