High flying Arsenal failed to go past Sporting Lisbon midweek in the Europa League encounter, but that shouldn’t concern Unai Emery much as they are well placed in their group. Next, they take on Wolves at the Emirates stadium, and the new entrants have shown that they can spring up a surprise or two, so the Gunners cannot take Nuno Santo’s men lightly.
Arsenal are just one point off Tottenham who currently occupy the fourth spot, and another three points should keep them up to pace with all their major rivals in this tight table at the top.

Danny Welbeck suffered an ankle injury in the last game, and his situation doesn’t look good at the moment. Nacho Monreal could be available for this game, but we expect Emery to ease him slowly into the first team. Stephan Lichtsteiner also suffered a muscular problem, and he is also a significant doubt. Mohamed Elneny, Laurent Koscielny and Dinos Mavropanos are long-term absentees.

Bernd Leno will once again start in goal in the Premier League game as Petr Cech is being preferred in Cup ties. Sead Kolasinac should continue in the left back spot as long as Monreal is not hundred per cent. Hector Bellerin should be back in the eleven after being rested in the midweek tie.
Midfield
Granit Xhaka has proved his doubters wrong this season, and he has been a significant contributor in midfield for the Gunners. Lucas Torreira has slowly fitted in well into the first eleven and is an essential player for Emery. The Uruguayan should partner the Swiss in the middle of the park.
Alex Iwobi has been impressive of late, and we believe he deserves a go in the first team from the beginning. The Nigerian winger should start down the right ahead of Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Mesut Ozil will play in his usual playmaker’s role just behind the striker. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is once again going to start from the left flank to accommodate French forward Lacazette upfront. The Gabonese forward would often look to come into more central areas of the pitch and is going to be a major headache for the West Midlands club.

Alexandre Lacazette has enjoyed a good season so far as he has scored six goals and the 27-year-old should once again lead the line for the Gunners.
