Real Madrid are looking forward to a new beginning under their current manager Santiago Solari, who was handed the charge of the side on a permanent basis after his impressive showing in the first four matches as the interim manager. The Galacticos had the worst possible start to their La Liga campaign this season but now are looking to bounce back.
The Champions League winners received a big blow in the last summer transfer window when their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo left the club for Juventus. The Portuguese superstar was the mainstay in their attack for the previous nine years, and it will not be easy for them to replace him. However, latest reports are indicating towards the fact that the Galacticos might have found a solution to end their crisis up front for the time being.
As per reports, Monaco captain and star striker Radamel Falcao has “offered” his services to Los Blancos and is keen on a move to Real Madrid. The player has scored four goals for his side already this season and has reportedly spoken to the Galacticos about his desire to make a move to Santiago Bernabeu.
The former Atletico Madrid player is already 32 years old, and it would probably not be an intelligent decision for the European champions to bring him into the side to solve their issues up front. Even though he is an excellent player and a brilliant striker, the need for a player who can serve the club for a long time to come is the need of the hour for the Galacticos.
The inclusion of players like Vinicius Junior, Sergio Reguilon, Alvaro Odriozola and Javi Sanchez into the first team shows that the club is looking to have a futuristic approach. All the players as mentioned earlier have already had a go in the Champions League and La Liga and are looking good in giving Real Madrid some much-needed stability in the future.
So it would be safe to say that Falcao is not the right option for Real Madrid to bring in and they should rather look for younger players who can lead the line for them for many years to come.
