According to a recent report by the Metro, Malcom has insisted that he is happy with life at Barcelona amidst speculation linking him with a move out of the Nou Camp. It was reported that Arsenal were eager to secure the services of the Brazilian youngster last summer, and they could be willing to reignite their interest ahead of the January transfer window, but Malcom’s recent revelation has left Unai Emery’s hopes of landing the player in tatters.
In a recent post on Instagram, the Brazilian wonderkid addressed his situation at Barca and revealed, ‘About news that came out here in Spain, I want to clarify this: I came to Barcelona with many objectives and those who know me know that I am a very determined person,”
‘I’m very happy with my development with every passing day.
‘My objective is to make my dreams come true.
‘My family is also adapting very well to the city. Anyway, I’ll continue fighting for everything I desire in my career.’
Is The Brazilian’s Recent Revelation A Big Blow For The Gunners?
It is clear from the player’s words that he doesn’t intend to part ways with the Catalans any time soon which would be a massive blow for Arsenal as he could have been a shrewd signing for Emery in January. The 21-year-old has hardly featured for Barca this season after making just three appearances under Ernesto Valverde in all competitions.

Even with Lionel Messi currently out injured, Malcom has not been able to secure a regular starting berth at the Nou Camp.
