West Ham United clinched a decisive victory against Burnley in their 11th match of the Premier League campaign, with Felipe Anderson striking twice in the 68th and the 84th minute. It was an absolute goal-fest at the London Stadium as six goals were scored in total, out of which the Clarets managed to score two.
Apart from Anderson, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez scored for the Hammers. The Austrian opened the scoring for the East London club while Hernandez scored in the stoppage time in the second half to seal the win for his side. Burnley went onto find the back of the net via Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Chris Wood, but it was not enough to bog down the Hammers in their own home.
Here is how the West Ham United players are rated from their important win against Burnley.
Lukasz Fabianski: 6
It was a good effort from the goalie as he tried to keep the ball out but was unfortunate to be beaten twice.
Pablo Zabaleta: 7
Was right on point to defend the crosses well from the opposition attackers.
Issa Diop: 6
Another solid performance in the heart of the backline as he kept breathing on the shoulders of the Burnley forwards.
Fabian Balbuena: 6
Partnered Diop well. Made a number of tackles and interceptions to keep his side out of harm’s way.
Aaron Cresswell: 6
Decent outing for the left-back as he got the nod ahead of Arthur Masuaku to start.
Declan Rice: 7
The young defender seems to have set well into his new role up the field. Did well to win balls and made good interceptions.
Pedro Obiang: 5.5
Link up play was good but could not make an impact.
Robert Snodgrass: 6
Had a decent first and a rather quiet second half. Allowed Wood to get the second goal for Burnley.
Grady Diangana: 7
Was unfortunate to be denied a penalty for a foul by Defour. Saw plenty of the ball and made most of it.
Felipe Anderson: 8
A Man of the Match performance by the Brazilian as he scored twice to win it for his side.
Marko Arnautovic: 7
Was on point to capitalise on Tarkowski’s error to open the scoring.
Substitutes
Javier Hernandez: 6
Was not a brilliant performance in particular but put the last nail in the coffin by scoring late in the stoppage time.
Michail Antonio: 6
Good assist for Chicharito to make it four.
Angelo Ogbonna: NA
Played too little to warrant a rating.
