According to a recent report by Corriere Dello Sport, Manchester United are ready to table an offer to secure the services of Cengiz Under from AS Roma during the winter transfer period. It is understood that the Eusebio Di Francesco’s team could be persuaded to sell the Turkish winger if they receive a bid in the region of £44m. However, United will face stiff competition from the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester City in pursuit of the Roma youngster.

The Serie A star has slowly developed into a classy wide man at Roma over the past couple of years and has the potential to become a world-class talent in the near future. Under began his career while playing football back in his homeland at Bucaspor before switching clubs to join Altinordu and subsequently graduating from the Turkish outfit’s academy.
After spending over three years with Altinordu, Under secured a move to Basaksehir in the summer of 2016 where he found the back of the net nine times and created seven assists in 43 matches.
AS Roma spotted his potential and was quick to secure his signature last year. Since making a move to the Stadio Olimpico, the Balikesir-born prospect has been a revelation after he put in a string of outstanding displays during the last campaign. His contributions helped Roma reach the semi-final stages of the UEFA Champions League last season which goes on to show how good he can be while playing at the highest level.
Under has registered three goals while grabbing four assists in 10 appearances under Di Francesco this season in all competitions. At the tender age of 21, he has also secured 15 international caps for the Turkish national side and has found the back of the net four times while representing his nation.
