West Ham United were denied all three points very late in the game as Leicester City scored the equaliser in the 89th minute. The match played at the King Power Stadium saw the Hammers take the lead in the 30th minute of the game via Fabian Balbuena. The goal was, however, cancelled out at the ending stages of the game as Wilfried Ndidi’s deflected shot found the back of the West Ham goal.
The East London side played with ten men for a good part of the match as their captain Mark Noble was shown the red card for a two-legged challenge on Ndidi with his studs showing. However, they fought tooth and nail to keep the lead intact, but the Foxes were lucky enough to rescue one point from the match.
Here is how the West Ham United players were rated from their draw against Leicester City.
Lukasz Fabianski: 8
Showed great composure and brilliant decision making to deny the Leicester City strikers till almost the end of the match. Deserved a clean sheet thoroughly.
Pablo Zabaleta: 8
Put in another great shift and brought all his experience into play. Took the captain’s armband after Noble’s dismissal and led from the front.
Issa Diop: 7
some display of defensive skills as he kept his side out of harm’s way.

Good defending to keep Iheanacho out. Made some brilliant blocks and interceptions.
Declan Rice: 8
Stuttered in the starting few minutes but showed maturity as the game went on. Was one of his best matches till date.
Mark Noble: 2
Was a rash and irresponsible decision from the West Ham captain to get his team in trouble. Was rightly shown the red card.
Robert Snodgrass: 7
Made some brilliant runs into the attacking third and delivered the ball well.
Grady Diangana: 6
Looked to make accurate passes to set up the forwards and was successful in doing so as well.
Felipe Anderson: 5.5
Tracked back well but was poor going forward.
Javier Hernandez: 5
Has lost his sublime touch in front of the goal and finishing was poor as well.
Substitutes
Michail Antonio: 6
Looked better than Hernandez but lacked the finishing touch.
Aaron Cresswell: 6
Looked good in his defensive role.
Angelo Ogbonna: 5
Could have been the match-winner for the Hammers but missed two opportunities including a sitter after coming on.
