Real Madrid will be hosted by Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium on Wednesday night with both teams looking to secure the three points. The Galacticos managed to earn a narrow 1-0 win over Espanyol on Sunday courtesy of Marco Asensio’s goal while Sevilla thrashed Levante away from home with a 2-6 scoreline.
We can expect both teams to play an open, attractive game of football which could make this midweek encounter highly entertaining. Julen Lopetegui is likely to opt for a 4-3-3 formation and might name his strongest XI for this contest.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Sevilla
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will start in goal as Madrid’s first-choice keeper in Lopetegui’s starting XI after keeping a clean sheet against Espanyol last weekend. The centre-back partnership between Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos would continue at the heart of the Galacticos backline after they managed to keep two clean sheets in a row against AS Roma and Espanyol respectively.
Marcelo could return to the side and resume his duties as the left-back while Dani Carvajal would look to use his dynamism down the right flank.
The Madrid defenders need to keep things stable at the back so that they can build a strong defensive record in the league which would help them challenge for the league title at the top of the La Liga standings.
Midfield
The impressive trio of Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Luka Modric are going to feature at the centre of the park. All three midfielders have begun the season in excellent form and could make a significant contribution against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.
However, Isco might have to settle for a place on the bench despite scoring two goals in his last three outings across all competitions.
Attack
The Madrid frontline would consist of Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale who are expected to wreak havoc in the final third. Asensio has caught the eye with some fantastic displays over the past few weeks and scored the only goal of the game versus Espanyol last weekend. So the away team would hope that he can maintain his form and cause a lot of problems to the Sevilla defence in midweek.
