According to Football Talk, Arsenal are showing interest in signing Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez this summer. The report also says that the North London club chiefs are ready to splash out £35.6m to sign the talented Spaniard in an attempt to beef up the attack.
Since Unai Emery has taken over the manager’s post at the Emirates stadium, a number of players have come into the side this summer. However, it seems the Spanish manager is not content with what he already has at his disposal and is looking to make the most of the last few days of the transfer window to strengthen his squad. The 27-year-old has played a versatile role for the UEFA Champions League winners in the last few seasons and the Arsenal manager is determined to add him to the squad.
However, it will not be an easy job for the Gunners to land the Spanish attacker as the new manager of Real Madrid, Julen Lopetegui, is looking to keep his options open for the next season and looks to keep Vazquez at his disposal. He has already faced a huge shock with team talisman Cristiano Ronaldo leaving the side to join the Italian giants Juventus this summer and it seems he is not willing to afford any more loss in the same transfer window.

Arsenal have recently been linked with the Barcelona starlet Ousmane Dembele but it seems that the Catalan giants are not willing to let the French youngster leave and this has made the Gunners turn their attention towards the Galacticos winger. The player, undoubtedly, will be a great fit for their side but it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will let him leave this summer.
