According to Daily Star, Aaron Ramsey is the latest player to be on the wishlist of the Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho. It is believed that the Portuguese mastermind is in the lookout for the “perfect midfielder” and his search might end on the Arsenal star.
The player has been rated at £30m and the price might not be a big headache for the cash-rich club. However, it is going to be a fight of tooth and nail for the Red Devils as they might have to face Chelsea as a potential challenger.
According to football finance expert, Kieran Maguire, Manchester United would be more than interested in order to land the player as he looks to turn his fortune around next season. The last couple of seasons have been of lesser significance for the Portuguese boss and he is determined to turn the tide in his favour this time around as his job might be on the line of fire.
In an interview with Star Sport, Maguire said, “I think he could fetch £30m,” and added, “Mourinho was prepared to pay around £45m for Sanchez in the last year of his contract. Its fair to say Ramsey isn’t in that same category but he is in the prime of his career and he’s good for scoring goals from midfield. Especially with United preferring to play one up front, that’s absolutely essential.”

He also suggested that the player would be a perfect fit at Old Trafford and his style of play will suit Mourinho’s team composition. However, he also warned that other clubs like Chelsea and West Ham United will be interested to rope in the player, who has only one year left on his contract with Arsenal and Manchester United should make haste to capture his signature.
