Their prospect of signing the player is looking likely after renowned journalist and Daily Mail editor Lee Clayton, who is known to have “excellent Hammers contacts” reported on Friday morning that the club are “increasingly confident” about signing the left-sided forward before the closure of the transfer window.
The East London club have already brought in seven new players this summer, and it seems that they are far from ending their transfer business. Under the tutelage of Manuel Pellegrini, the club are set to make amends for their last season disappointment, and they are looking set to do so with some quality players already at their disposal.
The 25-year-old attacker is one of the most attractive free agents available in the market after the player ran down his contract with his former club Shakhtar Donetsk and this has attracted many major European clubs towards him.
