Liverpool have completed the signing of young player Bobby Duncan from Manchester City. The fee in this deal, however, is undisclosed, as per the report.
The player has already started training with the Liverpool U-18 squad. He took to the social media platform and announced the arrival via Instagram post. The 17-year-old is one of the most highly rated players in England at the youth level and has a bright future ahead of him.
Duncan, who is also the nephew of the Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, showed glimpses of his brilliance in 2016 when he became the first Englishman to score a hat-trick against Brazil. His antics have made him earn rave reviews from a number of experts.
Liverpool are known for their rich heritage of helping youngsters become professionals and Bobby Duncan should not be an exception to that. The player is currently joining Neil Critchley’s U-18’s side and will hone his skills to become one of the best English players in the future.
The Reds already have the likes of Dominic Solanke and Rhian Brewster in their ranks and the players have shown immense potential whenever given a chance. Besides them, the likes of Ryan Kent, Harry Wilson and Sheyi Ojo have hit the ground running and have been loaned out to gather experience and develop themselves in better professionals, going onto represent the club in the future.
