According to reports emerging from 101 Great Goals, Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis might be on his way to go out of the club. A number of influential Twitter accounts supporting the North London club are looking to confirm the fact, however, none of the clubs have given any confirmation on any such occurrences so far.
The reports that are claiming the departure have been around the clubs for the last few weeks and are not looking to die down very quickly. However, as far as any of the clubs are not confirming it, the news can be classified as a rumour rather than a confirmation for the Arsenal chief executive to leave the Emirates in order to make a move for the Italian giants.
Meanwhile, it is indeed turning out to be a very good week in the transfer market for the Italian club so far. They have brought in Mattia Caldara to strengthen their defence and have also secured the services of one of the top strikers in Serie A in the form of the Argentine marksman Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus. In return, they had to let go of the former Bianconeri defender Leonardo Bonucci, whom they signed from the Turin club last summer.

Arsenal’s loss of Gazidis, which might just be around the corner, is expected to happen sooner than later. At least going by the reactions on the social media platform Twitter, which is abuzz with the rumour of the CEO leaving the club, it seems the move is quite close. Whether the move destabilizes the club’s functions or not, is, however, to be seen in the near future.
