As per reports from Daily Star, Arsenal are looking to use Aaron Ramsey as a bait to land Steven N’Zonzi this summer. The Frenchman has been eyed by the Gunners to bolster their midfield options, their current manager Unai Emery being a fan of the 29-year-old Sevilla enforcer.
According to Football finance expert Kieran Maguire in a recent interview with Star Sport, it will be a wise decision for the North London club to lure N’Zonzi to the Emirates in lieu of their Welsh midfielder.
He said, “In terms of Nzonzi – you are looking at around the same price level.
“He has a release clause of £35m and Ramsey is in that ballpark, so it could work for both teams.
“In terms of wages, it would also work very well for Financial Fair Play, as Ramsey’s wages are roughly £10,000 less.”
On the other hand, Sky Sports reporter Adam Bate is of the opinion that the Gunners are set to face problems in pursuit to land the Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele. The player has been on Arsenal radar for quite some time now but they are far from agreeing on a deal with the Catalan giants to bring the player to the Emirates this summer.
Bate said, “I’ve seen that Dembele has been linked with Arsenal because of the Dortmund connection and things.
“That’s an exciting one with one of the agents meeting with Barcelona.
“I don’t see why they would sell him because they need youthful exuberance in that attack. He’s still only 21 and there’s got to be massive potential there.”

Barcelona have already signed Malcom from Bordeaux and it is to be seen whether they let Dembele leave this summer or not.
