According to The Express, Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has taken a dig at Manchester United legend Paul Scholes on social media via Twitter. The super agent has been vocal about the English legend’s criticism of the French midfield star and has hinted that his second spell at Old Trafford might nearly be over.
The player has recently been in controversy over his relationship with the club manager Jose Mourinho and there have been rumours that the player might be on his way out of the club this summer. However, the Frenchman has already started both the matches for the Manchester club in the Premier League so far and has scored in both of them. He has even been handed the club captain’s armband in both the matches.
The 26-year-old midfielder has faced stern criticism from Paul Scholes in the recent times and that seems to have not gone down well with his agent Mino Raiola. The player’s agent, reportedly, said in his tweets, “Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten,” he added,”Paul Scholes wouldn’t recognise a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill. @paulpogba.
“Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba.”
The player, however, has refrained from commenting on this on the social media himself. He just tweeted a picture of him kneeling with fellow French teammate Djibril Sidibe that said, “Eid Mubarak.”
Jose Mourinho, on the other hand, has said that he has never been more happy with Pogba than he is now. He said,”The truth is we are together for two years and a couple of weeks and I’ve never been so happy with him as I am now. That’s the truth.”
