The Portuguese boss has been hot on the heels of the Blues’ attacker and is determined to land him this summer, even after insisting that he is not in need of another attacker in his squad.
The report also indicates towards the fact that the former Chelsea manager will be happy to splash £60m for the player. Mourinho has been eyeing the Brazilian star all through the summer, and a bid might be on its way to lure him out of Stamford Bridge. However, Chelsea’s new boss Maurizio Sarri is confident that the 3o year old would stay at the club beyond this summer. The report has stated the current FA Cup champions are trying their level best to keep the player at their disposal, but if they are unable to do so, the Blues might go in for the Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
The Ivorian winger has caused quite a stir by rejecting the chance to sign a new deal at the South London club amidst massive interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. However, Chelsea will have to pay up a considerable sum of £75m to secure the services of the Palace ace, which might be a turn off for them.
