According to Sportlens, Arsenal have signed Cătălin Cârjan from Romanian club Viitorul Domnesti. The highly-rated midfielder is set to join the Gunners in December, which marks his 16th birthday. The report states that the player will be joining as a scholar, which means there won’t be any official declaration from the North London club about the confirmation of the move.
However, the youngster, Carjan, is seemingly very excited about the move and took to social media to reveal the news. He posted on his Instagram page about the move and in an interview said, “It’s something else, it’s a big difference I cannot wait to go there. I will sign when I’m 16. They told me that I was a good player and that they wanted (me) to go to (be promoted to the first) team in two years.”
Arsenal look to set themselves to carry on the legacy of their former manager Arsene Wenger, who was a huge patron of youth. It is expected that the 16-year-old player is going to become a valuable player in the future for the Gunners and will follow in the footsteps of two of the current senior team members, Alex Iwobi and Hector Bellerin, who came out of the academy to emerge as regular first team stars in the current squad.

Everything now depends on the kind of composure that the young player can show during his academy days, which will pave the way for his future at one of the biggest clubs in Europe and Premier League. He will have to wait till December to be a part of the esteemed academy and will hope for the best to happen in the future.
