Leeds United are eyeing a move for Senegalese striker Moussa Konate. The player is currently plying his trade for the Ligue 1 club Amiens and has attracted interest from English Championship clubs like Leeds United and Brentford. The Whites have not been able to make any significant signings this summer and are looking to make the most of the time left in their hands before the closure of the summer transfer window. One of the major areas they need to focus on is their attack as their forwards faltered drastically in the last term to find the back of the net, thus leading the side to end on a lowly 13th spot in the league table.
However, with one of the most highly rated managers in world football at the helm next season in the form of Marcelo Bielsa, the Leeds faithful are looking for a turn around in their team’s performances. The Whites, though, have not been able to make many inroads this summer and a move for the 25-year-old Ligue 1 striker can be a significant boost for the attack.
