Arsenal have confirmed that they have tied down their 18 year old youngster Emile Smith-Rowe to a new pro-contract on his return from the pre-season tour in Singapore. Smith-Rowe burst into the scene with a stunning goal against the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid during their pre-season match and has been rewarded with a new contract. He also played a major role in Arsenal’s run to the FA Youth Cup in the last term and showed his prowess once again by setting up Alexandre Lacazette to score a goal in the pre-season tournement.
The player is very happy with the latest development in his career and has made no efforts to conceal that in his recent interview on the club’s website. He said, “To be honest it feels great for me. It’s something I’ve always dreamt of since I was young, so to sign a new contract with Arsenal… I’m just so happy and it feels surreal at the moment.”
The 18 year old also added, “It’s so crazy! Training with the players that Arsenal have is a dream for me, something that I’ve been dreaming of since I was a kid. To get the opportunity to train and play with them on tour was just an unbelievable feeling for me.”

Signing a pro-contract with one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League is sure be a major boost for him.
