After an impressive campaign in the Championship, Wolverhampton Wanderers are back in the Premier League after five long seasons. The last time they dropped out of the top flight in 2012, they fell to League One the next season but this time, they seem well equipped to compete with the best teams in the league.
Nuno Espirito Santo has worked pretty well with a talented squad but the quality in the Premier League will push the manager to add some quality to their side in the transfer market this summer. But it will be important for the Wolves to make sure that they retain the star players, who have formed the core of the squad recently and one such player who has now pledged his future to the club is Leonardo Bonatini.
Born and brought up in Brazil, the 24-year old joined Wolves, on loan last season. He made an immediate impact on the club, scoring on his debut, and establishing himself as the first choice striker for the manager in no time.
He registered 12 goals and five assists all season but his early league form gave Wolves a head start in the title race that was never overturned. So it did not take long for Santo to tie him down to his club.
Wolves have now announced that Leo Bonatini has made his move to the club permanent, signing a four-year deal. He is a part of the squad for the pre-season and this deal will certainly give him a boost, going into the most important campaign of his career.
He is strong and dominating in the air and loves to play on the shoulder of the final defender. But he is equally adept at dropping deep and helping in build-up play. He is an excellent finisher and at just 24, has a huge career ahead of him.
But the Premier League is a completely different challenge for the Brazilian, who will have to take his game to the next level, to find consistency as he did in the last campaign. But the manager is certain to give him chances to prove himself and if Bonatini can hit the ground running, Wolves are certain to trouble some of the best teams in the competition.

He was the second top goal scorer for the club last season at Molineux and has impressed the fans who now love him. So there is no reason for the 24-year old to struggle in the top flight.
