Manchester United have added a surprise twist to what already looks to be turning into a chaotic transfer window, by making a move for French sensation Ousmane Dembele, currently plying his trade at Barcelona.
Dembele had a mixed season with the Catalonian club as he managed to just 17 appearances last term. He seldom showed flashes of his brilliant capabilities when on the field but failed to tie down a spot in the starting 11. Proneness towards injury kept him sidelined for the majority of their season. A lot was and still is expected from the youngster and a move away from Spain might help Dembele regain his form.
Manchester United are keen to bring in the player on a loan move in an attempt which looks to be a step forward in the right direction for both United and Dembele. The Frenchman, barring injury, would be given the chance to regain the form he showed during his time at Borussia Dortmund. Game time and faith in his capabilities from Jose are what the player is in need of at the moment, so a loan move to Manchester United would only go on to benefit the French youngster greatly.
The Red Devils are in search of an already established player as they look to prepare themselves for the upcoming Premier League campaign. Jose Mourinho’s side are, however, also keen on signing Willian from title rivals Chelsea as Mourinho is known to be a huge admirer of the Brazilian winger.
Signing Willian might be trickier than expected due to the fact that Willian would become a key player for United as they challenge Chelsea and the rest of the League rivals for the title of being the best team in England. Mourinho is known to stick with his 4-2-3-1 approach and bringing in both Willian and Dembele would only go on to strengthen Jose’s team further. Talks of Anthony Martial being unsettled in Manchester is a concern as the club will look to bolster their squad depth before the transfer window is finally closed.
On the other hand, with the departures of Andres Iniesta and Paulinho, Barcelona might have to change their starting personnel to ensure big money signings Philippe Coutinho and Dembele make the cut. The duo has the quality to become mainstays in the team but has to work hard on their fitness levels and ensure that they do not succumb to injuries.

However, a move for the French youngster to England would mean that he will get more playing time than he had in the past season at Nou Camp and it will enhance his ability to develop himself into a better player. So it might be a move in the best interest of all parties involved.
