Juventus have suddenly turned into one of the most popular football clubs in the sport. The Italian giants, who have dominated Serie A for almost a decade now, have just got stronger, as they have managed to land Cristiano Ronaldo in a €100m deal. The Portuguese international wants to prove himself in the Italian league and is sure to take Juventus far in the Champions League as well.
However, Ronaldo’s inclusion in the squad will mean that Juventus have to lose at least one of their star players, to free up first-team places and wage burdens on the club. It is understood that Argentine international Gonzalo Higuain might be the man to be shown the exit door this summer.
He is valued at €55m and an exclusive from Italian site Calciomercato claims that he is up for sale now. The 30-year old struggled in the World Cup but has a stupendous scoring record with the Old Lady of Turin. He has previously attracted interest from the Premier League and here are three English clubs that should look to sign him this summer:
Chelsea:
The Blues have struggled with Alvaro Morata as the main striker and are ready to replace him this summer. They have Olivier Giroud but need a player who can start twice a week and Higuain could be that man. The Juventus man is also 30, and not a long-term option but he definitely will add goals to this Chelsea side and will solve an impending problem at the club.
Everton:
The Toffees have Cenk Tosun as their main striker as Marco Silva looks to take the Toffees closer to the top of the table next season. However, they need established stars to compete with the best in the league and Higuain is just the kind of a player they need. He can walk into the first team and will make an immediate impact and if Silva can play to his strengths, Everton will be a force to reckon with next season.

West Ham United:
Having landed Manuel Pellegrini, West Ham have been ambitious in the transfer window this summer. They have signed some exciting names and should give Higuain a shot. At just €55m, he is affordable and will walk into the first team with Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll struggling to find form last season. The lack of European football could scupper this deal but a move for Higuain will be a real statement of intent from the Hammers.
