According to latest reports, Brighton and Hove Albion are looking to sign Ipswich Town’s impressive teenage fullback Dylan Crowe. The 17-year-old is touted to have a big future ahead of him and is even linked with the likes of Manchester United. Clubs from Bundesliga are also set to fight for his signature so the Seagulls will have to move in quick if they want to bag their target.
The player is yet to sign a professional contract with Ipswich and the clubs chasing after him are willing to pay £500,000 to secure his signature even before he decides to commit his future to Ipswich Town. Crowe has risen through their academy and has impressed at the u-17 level for his country England. He was impressive for the Three Lions in the European Championship and that has garnered huge attention from some of the top clubs of the world.
The Seagulls have slowly risen up the ranks in English football and they will be looking to establish themselves as a regular club in the top flight. However, they will need to keep on improving and keeping a pool of good young players will always come in handy in the future. Crowe is in no way ready to take on the challenges of the Premier League now, but the signs portrayed by the teenager looks bright.
Crowe can be termed as a natural athlete as he is nimble on the feet and has an immense burst of pace which can trouble any defence in the future. He started to break into Ipswich’s u-18 team when he was just 16 and soon could be on his way to play at a higher level.
A move to Germany will also be tempting for the youngster as we often see players getting more first team action there. Jordan Sancho of England snubbed various Premier League clubs to move to Borussia Dortmund and he has been enjoying a decent amount of first-team opportunities at the Signal Iduna Park.

Brighton are probably the least favourite to snap up Crowe given their stature in world football. However, for the overall development, a move to Falmer Stadium will not be a bad option as he is more likely to get playing opportunities. Though, the player still needs to put in some hard yards before he comes close to playing first-team football in the top division.
