Leeds United had a mediocre season last term when they only managed to attain a 13th placed finish in the second tier of English football. However, the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa as the new head coach has brought a lot of optimism to Elland Road. It was expected that Bielsa will have the pull to bring in some quality players to the West Yorkshire club this summer but the Argentine boss has failed to make any major signings so far.
The Peacocks have only managed to bring in Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker from Chelsea on loan but with only a few days left until the closure of this transfer window, the club is in a race against time to bring in some more talents this summer.
However, Bielsa can look to give some of his young players a chance if he is unable to land any more players from the transfer market. Here are three players who can be a hit for the Whites if given a chance to prove their worth on a regular basis at Elland Road.
Tom Pearce
The young Leeds left-back has already shown signs of promise at the tender age of 20. He had featured in 5 matches in the Skybet Championship and has one league goal to his name so far. If given a shot to prove his value, Pearce has the potential and the hunger to be a future star at Elland Road.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell
The Peacocks keeper got his fair share of games last season and made his mark in between the sticks after putting in a number of eye-catching displays at West Yorkshire. He had made 12 appearances in the league last season, conceding 19 goals while keeping a single clean sheet. Peacock-Farrell will have a tough task to compete with the new loan arrival, Jamal Blackman for a place in Bielsa’s starting XI. However, the 21-year-old goalie has the ability to beat Blackman for a place in the Leeds goal so it would be wise to keep a lookout for this rising star in the upcoming campaign.

Ronaldo Vieira
The English midfielder is exactly the kind of prospect who can thrive under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa if given a proper run of games at Elland Road. The 20-year-old has 63 Championship appearances under his belt so far and is definitely a young player to watch out in the coming years.
