Long-term Wolverhampton Wanderers target Andre Silva is now currently on the radar of Turkish giants Galatasaray. The West Midlands club has been linked with the AC Milan striker even before the transfer window began and the saga regarding the Portuguese striker’s future is still going on.
There were reports that Nuno Santo had made a bid for the Portuguese striker which was rejected by AC Milan. The Serie A club signed him from the Portuguese giants Porto and a lot was expected out of the young striker. The 22-year-old managed just 2 goals in the Serie A and that would have left Gennaro Gattuso frustrated as he was brought in for a lot of money. However, one cannot count the youngster out and he can still come good at the San Siro.
The youngster, however, had a good run of games in the Europa League where he scored 8 goals in 14 games. AC Milan will still be hoping to hold on to their striker as it won’t be a good idea to sell him after just one season. He was signed up for €38m and Milan should certainly give him another season to prove his worth.
Even though he had a lacklustre season in Italy, he has been picked up for Portugal’s national squad for World Cup in Russia. He can certainly make his stocks go higher if he manages to pull off a good performance in the World Cup.
Wolves, of late, have been extremely shrewd and smart in their transfer dealings. They had 5-6 players on loan last season who helped them secure promotion to the Premier League. They were even not afraid to break the bank as they signed Ruben Neves for a club record fee and the midfielder proved to be instrumental in the middle of the park for them.
A move to Galatasaray might be tempting for the young striker as he can get a chance to play in Champions League. However, he will be more visible for the world if he decides to make the switch to the English Premier League, which is considered as one of the toughest leagues in the world.

Wolves will have to break another transfer record if they want to land the Portuguese as AC Milan rate him around £33m. That is certainly going to be a big risk for a striker who hasn’t had a good season but we have seen Nuno Santo bring out the best of a number of players and the Wolves faithful will be hoping for the same in this case as well.
