Inter Milan are seemingly ready to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele. The veteran central midfielder is expected to leave the North London side this summer and that could see Inter Milan move in for Dembele if reports are to be believed.
According to the latest news, Dembele is keen on a move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning. The Chinese League popped up on the page of world football after serious money was invested in their football market. It oversaw the signing of some really big names like Ezequiel Lavezzi of Argentina, Hulk and Oscar of Brazil and most recently Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid. They offer these football stars ridiculously high wages which cannot be matched by any other team in world football. Naturally, such money has turned the heads of many players including the veterans who are sailing away into the sunset.
There is no better way for these stalwarts to end their career by promoting football in China and earning heavy money at the same time as retirement funds. It now seems that Mousa Dembele is set to follow the trend and join the plane to China. However, Inter Milan are going to try their best to scupper their plans of getting Dembele by getting the player to Italy for a one year spell.
It is being believed that the Italian giants have identified Dembele as an ideal target and bringing him in for free has only made them want the player more. He is being chased for a one year contract by Inter after which they will help Dembele move to China, according to reports.
Dembele is a star at his current club but is ready to move on, according to reports.
Inter have one little problem however, the Financial Fair Play. The rules regulated by FIFA has seen the club fall in a fix and now they cannot buy any player until the 30th of June. However, signing Dembele after that remains an option but the final decision will rest with the player.
The stalwart has had an impressive career in England and has been one of the key players at Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino. He has helped the North London team become a powerhouse in Europe and it now seems he will have to decide between choosing the money in China or European football at Inter Milan.
