Jurgen Klopp is slowly building a pretty dangerous team at Anfield. The German tactician took the club to the finals of the Champions League last season and is now looking to build on it with some additions to the squad this summer. But he also has a number of exciting academy products, whose future needs to be resolved quickly.
One such player, now wanted on loan elsewhere is Harry Wilson. The Welsh international, who became the youngest debutant for his national side earlier this year, is one of the most highly rated youngsters currently in the youth setup under Klopp. The 21-year old is yet to make a senior appearance in the domestic league and lack of playing time saw him sent out on loan to Hull City in the January transfer window this year.
He made an instant impact at KCOM, registering seven goals and three assists in just 11 Championship starts. A quick and skilful winger, who can play on either wing, Wilson is a bright prospect with a great future. He has already mastered the art of hold up play and is an athletic presence on the wings. He is ready to take his man on and is almost impossible to mark in one-on-one situations.
He showed a step up in his game at Hull City last season, showing that he is already a level above the Championship. However, at Anfield, he is hardly going to get game time over the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the first team. But he seems ready for first-team action and Klopp might view him as the first choice replacement on either wing.
Liverpool are also without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for most of the first half of the next campaign and it might make sense for them to hold on to Wilson, who has the ability to take the Premier League by storm.
He is a part of Klopp’s squad for the pre-season games but reports suggest that Norwich City have opened talks with Liverpool, over a loan move for him this summer, after the pre-season.
The Canaries want him as a replacement for their midfield maestro James Maddison, who recently left for Leicester City. Wilson is certainly capable of filling that spot, albeit from a different role but it will be interesting to see if Klopp is ready to let him go.

The Reds have very few backups for their star wingers and it looks likely that Wilson will taste first team action soon. Klopp is not one to back away from giving youngsters their opportunity and Wilson should certainly wait for it at Anfield.
