2017/18 EFL Championship winners, Wolves continue to circle around Inter Milan’s highly rated youngster, Andrea Pinamonti with Liverpool also reportedly interested in him. The 18-year-old is expected to be worth around £2m and the Wanderers plan on signing him this summer.
Pinamonti is a born striker with heaps of scoring talents under his boots. The teenager has been a sensation for the San Siro side this season with 7 goals and 3 assists in a total of 11 games. 6 of those goals were netted in 4 games of the UEFA Youth League.
He was also allowed to feature in two of Milan’s senior games this season racking up his total appearances to 5.
Pinamonti is one the most promising young talents in the Serie A and is pegged to be a future star in the Italian national team. He has already been capped 50 times for the country’s youth sides in which he has netted the ball on 20 occasions. His development has been nothing short of meteoric and he might already be ready for the challenges of top-flight football.
However, he still has a long way to go before he can break into the Milan first team. A clear obstacle in that path is the Argentine superstar, Mauro Icardi, who in his own sense has been prolific for the Black and Blues this season.
A youngster’s development towards future stardom can only be channeled through regular game time against top level talent. Such has been the case for every top player in world football. Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney with Manchester United, Lionel Messi with Barcelona and Steven Gerrard with Liverpool are the notable examples.
Wolves could turn out to be a wonderful outlet for the Cles-born forward since he will be exposed to the challenges of Premier League football next season. The Wanderers have dominated the English second division to earn their place in the top-flight and Nuno Santo will be needing high-profile names to put on a good challenge.
Standing at 6 feet 1 inches tall Pinamonti a chop of the old block. His strength and ball holding ability are excellent along with his efficiency while in possession of the ball. The striker knows a thing or two about getting his team some much-needed goals and quite deservedly caught the eyes of the big teams in Europe.
However, the question remains whether Inter will part ways with the youngster so easily. Maybe they will agree to a loan at the moment and a permanent transfer in the future.

Santo has already signed Rafael Mir from Valencia last January and has Benik Afobe, Leo Bonatini and Diogo Jota in the squad. Hence it could be hard for the youngster to carve out a lucrative role in the current Wolves side.
