Manchester United are planning a major swap deal with Borussia Dortmund in pursuit of their United States winger Christian Pulisic this summer. According to recent reports, the Red Devils are willing to offer Anthony Martial if it means they can seal a move for Pulisic when the transfer window opens in the summer.
It is believed that United are ready to hijack Liverpool‘s attempt to sign the United States international, who is a long-term target for the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp and is currently rated in the region of £40m by Dortmund. Some sources are claiming that the Reds of Manchester are ready to offer a blockbuster swap deal which will see Martial head to Germany in exchange for Pulisic coming to Old Trafford in this upcoming summer transfer period.
Martial has found first-team opportunities limited under Jose Mourinho this season after falling down the United pecking order since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January. Recent reports suggest that the Frenchman is frustrated with the lack of game time and is eager to make a summer move in search of more first-team opportunities.
